Our Story
Behind Maison HOSHIA is a designer from the Paris region who chose to let her work speak for itself rather than her name.
Some brands are born from an idea. Maison HOSHIA, however, was born from a calling.
Behind every creation lies a personal story, powerful moments, self-doubt, trials overcome, and joys fully experienced.
Moments where everything falters, and others where everything lights up.
In those moments, two things have always been there... art and prayer.
Creating became a refuge. A space to express what overflows, to transform pain into beauty, doubt into a line, silence into color. And praying is what allowed us to get back up, again and again.
Maison HOSHIA was born from this deep conviction: "what saves us deserves to be shared."
HOSHIA
Not just a name, a prayer
HOSHIA comes from "Hoshi'a na," a Hebrew expression originating from the early Church in Jerusalem.
This acclamation, composed of the verb "to save" (hoshi'ah) and the particle "na'" ("I pray to you"), literally means:
"Save us, I pray."
hoshi'ah (הוֹשִׁיעָה): "save!"
na' (נָּא): "please / I beg you"
Over time, the expression was transliterated from Hebrew to Greek in the New Testament, then to Latin, and subsequently to modern languages.
This cry is found in the Psalms, taken up by the people during Jesus' messianic entry into Jerusalem.
Over the centuries, Hosanna has become a song of joy, victory, and hope.
But before it was an acclamation, it was a prayer. A cry to God. A call for help borne of faith.
This word resonates at the heart of Maison HOSHIA because it resonates at the heart of its history.
In the darkest seasons, art gave a voice to what was overflowing internally. And in that silent cry, Jesus answered. He raised up, restored, and breathed new life.
Today, Maison HOSHIA is born from this encounter between art, faith, and deliverance.
Every creation carries this intention: to transmit light, hope, and truth through aesthetics.
HOSHIA
He saves. He delivers.
Creation process
Fair and transparent pricing
At Maison HOSHIA, prices reflect a reality: that of artistic creation produced on demand, with local partners and carefully selected materials.
Each piece is made individually, without mass production, and without compromising on quality, durability, or ethics.
We believe that a meaningful object should remain accessible without sacrificing those who create, produce, or deliver it.
It is not an unattainable luxury.
It is simply the fair price for a creation conceived, produced, and delivered with respect: for you, for the artisans who make it possible, and for the world around us.
Our association's commitments
A painting, a gesture of solidarity
By purchasing a Maison HOSHIA painting, you are also participating in an act of solidarity: for each painting sold, €1 is donated to an association committed to persecuted Christians.
Why support persecuted Christians?
In many regions of the world, Christians suffer rejection, discrimination, violence, exclusion or loss of their rights because of their faith.
Supporting them means reminding them that they are not forgotten. It also means defending freedom of belief, human dignity and everyone's right to live their faith without fear.
Through this commitment, Maison HOSHIA wishes to convey a message of solidarity, hope and fraternity.
Supporting persecuted Christians means choosing not to look away from their suffering.
What are the donations used for?
Donations help support various actions for persecuted Christians and their families, including:
- emergency food, medical or material aid;
- support for displaced persons or victims of violence;
- moral, spiritual and pastoral support;
- distribution of Bibles and Christian resources;
- aid to families deprived of housing or income;
- training and support towards greater autonomy.
Each contribution, however modest, thus helps to bring comfort, help and hope to those going through hardship.
Buying a work of art is also sowing a gesture of love and hope.
An invitation
HOSHIA House,
is an invitation.
To wear something meaningful.
To feel a little less alone.
To believe that the beauty of art and faith in God can save.
Here, art is a language.
The language of emotions we can't always express.
A silent cry,
a prayer in the form of colors and lines.
A cry to Jesus.
He who heard. He who saved.
What if, in turn, you could feel it too?
Welcome to our home, welcome home. 🤍
