My Father

You who are my heart, my soul, my light,

I ask you, through the simplicity of our love,

to gather me from among the thorns of sin,

so that I may blossom within your hands.

Lord,

lead me away from darkness.

Send me all your love and tenderness.

Make of me a soul both pure and filled with wisdom.

Cleanse me of my inner pain and hatred.

Free me from the vices that torment me.

Heal the wounds I carry deep within.

Lord,

help me to be happy,

to draw closer to you,

and to strengthen my faith.

Lord Jesus,

guide me forever.
